The blokes on CODOH have been over all those documents and they all have problems like missing serial numbers that should be there and things like that. Others have dates that don't line up with the official history of the camp.
Your photo of burning bodies was obviously taken after the war. The men are labourers from the local township. I can tell from their clothing.
If they were prisoners they would have those stripped pyjama uniforms and if they were guards they would have uniforms on. The fact that they have civilian clothes on means that they are local Poles from the town who were brought into the camp after the war to help dispose of bodies during the epidemic.

Generals and officer journals? Intercepted communications? There is a 5 volume series of every meesage sent from Auschwitz to Berlin, surely it would be in there?
