Meanwhile pop up headlights, bumpers that aren’t 6’ off the ground, not having a breathalyzer, and not having backup cameras(more dangerous than just looking behind you, only necessary due to regulations ruining rear visibility in cars) are all illegal. I take a lutein and zeaxanthin supplement daily and have a pair of these that can hopefully help limit the damage but every time you come over a hill or around a corner d riving at night and feel your head explode in shock as some asshole's nuclear powered LED headlights slam into your retina its in fact an explosion of reactive oxygen species (free radicals) which oxidize the retinal cells . this will 100% in all cases eventually lead to macular degeneration aka BLINDNESS.. If someone has high beams on, a quick flip of my high beams from my regular HID brights usually gets them to dim them. If not, a quick strobe of the offroads guarantees a reaction.
