What happens when this website gets taken down? Of course feds use this website to find people to put on lists, but they would rather this website not exist in the first place. Any Forums is a place for censorship free discussion, and people who frequent this site learn to not trust the government or the mainstream media. When the censorship gets too strong and sites like Any Forums are taken down, where are we going to go? I would hate to live in a world of NPCs.

I don't think this website is a containment medium. Feds frequent this site, and I imagine the mods legally have to divulge certain information to them from time to time, but the feds would prefer this website doesn't exist. They hate anti-government sentiment, and this website is a breeding ground for it. Any Forums is one of the sources of their problems. They would rather this website not exist than to monitor it.

The phoneposting and influx of retards from places like plebbit has lowered the bar and tainted the place. Was the site ever 'good'? No. Even if you go back 10 years it was flooded with shitposts. However, the signal to noise ratio was still orders of magnitude less than it is now. You have to sift through a lot more shit to find the good stuff now, and that's even with some good filters you build up over the years.
Taking down the site means the tourists and summerfags won't know where to go next. They'll want to be told where to go, its in their nature. And an alternative wouldn't have gotten popular enough, so they would likely just visit a few very slow boards and then give up.
Meanwhile, the rest of us that actually like posting for its own sake will be the ones helping to contribute to that alternative. For a time at least, easier coordination for weaponised autism and higher quality discussions can be had in peace, until the place gets popular enough for it to be recommended to the retards and the cycle starts all over again.
