Oh i forgot to mention laws that offer human rights for criminals, where you cant use "too much" physical violence against criminals to protect yourself, close relatives or your property. Doing so gets you criminal charge and you get jailed or have to pay compensation costs and the real criminal goes released or barely gets any real consequences.
