How are you guys dealing with food prices?
I personally started making kombucha to save a bunch of money. It was overpriced to begin with but now it’s just ridiculous
Also be sure to cut out all goyslop from your diet. It is getting more expensive but it sure as hell isn’t getting any healthier
Yes jannies... food prices and the health if americans are a political issue. I also want to show off my kombucha
Food prices and mitigation thread
please....
please come look at my kombucha....
i'm so proud of it....
>Kombucha
That's clearly jenkem, is it really that expensive to get high user?
I’ve been making freedom fries with homegrown potatoes and olive oil too... they are delish
lol no fren I don't even drink or do any of that nonsense. I do like caffeine though
kvass is better
I tried making kvass and it didn't turn out well, but I was being lazy as hell
I raise ducks for meat and brew my own cider and wine.
Olive oil makes soggy fries desu. Clarified butter or beef tallow are better for nice crispy fries.
you have to burn the bread, not just toast it. and don't be shy with the sugar. add raisings to magic flavor.
i'll try butter, thanks fren.
based duck farmer. my family has like 40 chickens so i have unlimited eggs since i go help them sometimes, it's so nice.
I can never eat white eggs again. They taste like soap

MIssing spuds and cabbage family
Oh that's fucking gross dude.
does you kombucha taste as good as the store stuff? how much do you save buying the ingredients?
Spuds absolutely. Cabbage wrecks my guts for some reason. But with all of this I can keep my grocery bill under 400/month USD
mine tastes a little better in my opinion. I tried flavoring one with mango puree and it came out pretty bad though. The organic mango concentrate juice from the glass bottles should do the trick though
Strawberry puree was really good and other juices from glass jars like passionfruit-mango were amazing
I could drink it straight if I wanted to
Also a cup of sugar and a few tablespoons of sugar plus the juice / fruit for flavoring is under a dollar per bottle.
Totally worth it
hahah yeah it's a bit freaky
of course, can't forget about the almighty raisins
I started off making home fries with olive oil in the oven and they were good, however, when I started making them tossed in butter instead of olive oil they went to a whole new level of deliciousness. You should try making the freedom fries in butter, you will thank me later. As an added bonus butter is cheaper too.
I have a discount outlet that sells both nearly expired or lost shipment foods and its usually 50% cheaper than you can get at the store. I use aldi to fill any gaps otherwise.
Good food doesn't break the bank no doubt. Sorry to hear about cabbage and you, does that apply to cauliflower and broc, etc too? It also helps if you like to cook, we can make huge batches and freeze meals ahead. I enjoy it and I never eat out. Only the occasional pizza as a treat. And I make "chinese" food, so yeah. I love Mushu so I eat a ton of cabbage. Cheers
some nasty ass hippy shit. dont drink rotten juice user
It's good for the gut biome
Goyslop will kill all of the bacteria in your digestive system and cause all kinds of problems
I know it seems unpleasant but that doesn't make it bad
