This post is then followed by 300+ comments of seething blue-collar men raging at the fact that they haul trash for $40K while this 5/10 female is making $100+K doing some unproductive office job.
I work at an office job making $180K, and I can assure you that what you see in webms like the one in my post are the exception. Companies rarely go out of their way to hire worthless people, and even if they don't, the other workers will know who isn't pulling their weight and cause the underperformer a ton of stress and anxiety.

in my experience, women are usually better than the men in the same role, because you have to be truly exceptional to get hired as a woman in a male-dominated area
I disagree with that, but for any high-paying role, they're definitely at least okay at their job role.
There's definitely favoritism in the hiring and promotion process, and females get undeserved advantages, but that's a far cry from saying they're 100% unqualified.

Many companies have explicit policies to hire certain groups. I've even seen job listings that said they would only hire women for the role.
If you browse tech work forums, there are many stories of people not passing even simple programming tests getting hired because of their "potential" and competent workers covering for incompetent workers because they "work as a team" and the incompetence of one worker means "failure as a team".

I work at a F50 company that is overtly pro-diversity, but you're overblowing it if you're using online anecdotes as proof that there's some widespread, systemic discrimination going around.
Minorities do get hired, but it happens only a few times even at large companies. Most hirings are still done via connections / networking, which mostly favors white people.
