On the other hand, compared to a Canadian city, the food and beer is infinitely better, the people are friendlier and better looking, the art museums are worthy of being called museums. The trains run on time, and run everywhere, even if the U-Bahn stations are full of piss and gypsies. You can buy a delicious sandwich on a train platform, There's cheap bread and coffee available almost everywhere. There's something sweet and wonderful about Berlin, a kind of coziness that's totally absent from Canadian cities. I miss it.
