math needs to be opened up and to be allowed to find other answers as correct to create equity. strict, structural rules for equations are a white construct and people of color were never able to invent parts of the structure or add their voice. white people decided the answers and nobody else was every able to apply their input.

we need people of color and minorities to be able to decide the answers to math and restructure the systems in a way that now belongs to them so they can add math as a part of their heritage and history.

I've read a few of these "math-is-racist" books, and they generally make one of two equally stupid points.
1. Because blacks are bad at math, math is racist. This is popular among ends-focused "anti-racists," like Ibram Kenya, but is an obvious logical fallacy.
2. White supremacy something-or-other is baked into math education, which means that blacks will always suffer. The problem with this argument is that, unlike history, for example, math is objective, so there's no bias to insert.
The "solutions" to this non-existent problem generally go along the route of "1.", by reducing the difficulty to a level that even blacks will get good grades. That was the plan in Virginia (before the Republican governor ended it) and of a widely spread Washington State or Oregon (can't remember) guidebook on antiracist math education.

I grew up in a neighborhood half and half white and asian. My friend group as well is about half and half white and asian. Let me tell you, the asians fucking HATE this shit. They don't want to be held back because some lazy nigger won't read his math book. It infuriates them especially since they see themselves as being held back by it. Asian culture is cut throat with competition. So it is interesting to see and they perceive it as racism towards them,

I remember that one of the best mathematicians of his time was some random Indian called Ramanujan, no formal training in mathematics but he was able to amaze even the greatest English mathematicians by solving complex problems that they couldn’t
It’s very much cope saying maths is racist, when some random 20 something Indian in the 1910s can pick up a maths book and beat Oxford and Cambridge alumni at their own game
