The reason affluent whites hate working class whites is genetic competition; they don't want their children to have to compete with the gifted children of working class whites, of which there are many, so they hamstring those working class whites. Affluent whites are true white supremacists who don't see minorities as real competition but as tokens. Their real competition is the working classes whites. As a tradesman, I can absolutely confirm. When I deal with people, they treat me decently before we start having a conversation, but once we we start talking and they realize I'm not a beer swilling redneck retard, they become standoffish, confrontational, or viscerally angry.

They imported mostly Indians, not east Asians, and they don't view Indians or east Asians as a serious threat, only working class whites. That's why 50 years ago they opened up trade with China in order to build up China while crushing the domestic working class. Those affluent whites never thought the Chinese could be a serious threat to a white-dominated country, and they're still skeptical.
