Housing should not be an investment

Limit having more than 1 home per family (couple and their children until they reach the age of adulthood). Home ownership is a basic human right, but since it is an investment option, the price is many times higher than it should be.

cry me a river, I rent 3 apartments and live in a forth, you won't do shit

what does this even mean? If I buy a house and remodel it while living in it, then go to sell it again, do I have to sell it for the same price as what I paid for it?

you are part if the problem that should be fixed

Regulating the housing market makes housing problems worse, not better. When will you commies figure this shit out? Make it less profitable to build houses = less houses built.

>Home ownership is a basic human right, but since it is an investment option, the price is many times higher than it should be.
It's not a right, but it shouldn't be treated as an investment because that only creates an incentive to kneecap the next generations opportunity to gain home ownership for the benefit of the older generations ability to mortgage their current properties for frivolous vacations/purchases because "They had it hard when they were younger, they didn't have cell phones or laptops! So I deserve to have a nice retirement!"
It's not a basic human right, but having widespread home ownership in a nation is beneficial in maintaining a stable and relatively safe society. But Kikes don't want a stable and safe society.

I’m just gonna buy some acreage and buy a harbor freight mill. I got a camper I can live in while I’m building a small cabin.

Stop voting for open borders, you crybaby faggots.

You do you friend. I will continue to buy homes and have them owned by an LLC under my umbrella corporation. See how easy it is to get around your 1 home per family limit?

Taxes should drastically increase for every additional house you own. Also only citizens should be allowed to own property.

Your life will be ending real soon

>Home ownership is a basic human right
No it's not.

I support OP and I suggested exactly the same thing. People should buy a house for themselves, not to be a price gouging kikes that prevent everyone from getting a home.

You better be fair to people you rent to. The second the safety bubble we live in in this country goes pop, people are going to be going after the people above them.
AND GUESS WHO THE EASIEST ONE TO GET TO IS. THATS RIGHT. YOU.

>Home ownership is a basic human right
Who is stopping you from building your own home ?
Oh you want to make someone else build it for you ?
How do you feel about human rights and slavery ?

Wearing a condom over my cokkk when I rape you causes more problems than it solves.
It's just aids :)

>It's not a basic human right, but having widespread home ownership in a nation is beneficial in maintaining a stable and relatively safe society.
This, however, I do agree with. Top-down governmental control of the housing markets is not going to solve the issue though. Our problems are more fundamental than that.

Kek trannies are real mad up in this
Thread
Good job landlord chads
Seethe harder faggots

>Who is stopping you from building your own home ?
Depending where you live, zoning laws/bureaucrats. There's a lot of red tape getting a house built, and you can get fucked long term if you try to tell the court eunuchs to get fucked with regards to the regulations surrounding "building a house".

you won't do shit

You won't do shit

You won't do shit

You won't do shit

Communists think everything they want is a human right.

Zoning laws, permit fees, construction codes, etc. Now I would agree with you if I had the right to just fuck off to the woods, build a log cabin on Bureau of Land Management Land, pay 0 taxes, and NOT have government goons come looking for me

>Top-down governmental control of the housing markets is not going to solve the issue though.
Never said it was, but I think a good way to cool the housing market is regulating the reverse mortgage/mortgage industry to cut down on people using their homes equity as an investment pool. You don't need to regulate the building/real estate industry more, you need to regulate the kike financial industry a hell of a lot more.

We need to fundamentaly change how people view their homes, because we've had about 4 generations of people who view their house as a piggy bank, rather just a house. That somehow needs to be reverted back to "My house is where I live, it's not something I bought with plans of flipping it."
Or we could just go full soviet and say "Everyone gets housing" but have the wait list for a real house be years to decades long.

local municipalities are in on it also. when houses are 3x what they are supposed to cost, thats 3x more property taxes. should be a rico case followed by the elimination of property taxes.

Also, it should not take more than 10 years to completely pay off a mortgage for a single family home, and this should be achievable on a single minimum wage income, while also factoring in car payments, insurance, and gas electricity and water

This is the move, user.

Move somewhere in the south that gets a lot of rain, and is land-locked.

You can always make more housing. But they're not making anymore land.

>Home ownership is a basic human right,

HAHAHAHAHA

your leftist master dont want you to OWN a house, they want you to live in a highly densified and walkable city, also called a tax farm.

And they'll do anything to make sure you cannot have your own house.
