If you can, why not have multiple children with multiple women? I don't see the moral issue, if you take care of the children. Impregnate some girls abroad, & offer them to come live with you & the other girls and kids, you'll take care of them all.

what do you mean? I think statistically less than 30% of men pass on their genes historically. According to what I've read, most relationships aren't monogamous because eventually, one partner steps out for "one last romp in the hay" (or many more). We're technically still in a momogamous society, but there's a caste of undesirable men regardless. To me, it doesn't make sense why men who have the means shouldn't reap the rewards.

Incorrect. Historically yes but that is because eras existed where 11 men died for every 1 man who successfully reproduced. In post-medeivel society, 1 man to 1 women is closer to the rule.

Here's the problem you're absorbing random statistics without taking anything into account.
Historically the mortality rate was extremely high that's not just because of lack of medicine or high rates of child mortality rate.
Men were much more likely to die than women even with higher rates of death during birth from major causes Including general violence and War.
Logically a polygamous system in a modern-day era without warfare to kill off the adult male population will breed a class of men with no stake in society, no opportunities or chances to have a family or pass on their genes and have no interest in the future of the society even if you supply them with every material hedonistic comfort.
