Why can't I get a job in plumbing?

offer to be a helper for a few months, then ask.

I live in the suburbs of Portland and I've been painting for 18 years since i graduated high school. I work 4 10's as a union painter.. swing shift i make 34 an hour. then I do side jobs about 40 weekends out of the year. The side jobs my rate is $500 a day for me and my equipment.. and i should be charging more but I feel it is fair.

Painting is not glamorous work and is looked down by most people. However, if you take pride in anything you do, people spread the word and you will have more work than you know what to do with.

The money will come. You need experience, and more importantly passion.

If you aren't willing to make small lies like years of experience, how are you hoping to make it as a plumber when you need to defraud people of thousands?

Fuck plumbing. Come be miserable with aircon instead

Be a helper, and not be shit. Have connections. Its like everything else in life.
