A church is a community who shares the same faith. Let's create ours.
Project - Church of Any Forums
I'm in.
Jesus Christ is King!
Eastern Catholic? Western Orthodox?
That's the deal.
Whatever happens, I will not deny it. And because I don't want to live alone in my bedroom, I just want to meet people who think the same.
Daily reminder: Jesus was a Galilean not a Judean. Learn the truth.
You can't create an Eastern Catholic Church as a simple guy, because you need to be a bishop and have the approval of the pope for this. Same for Orthodox, but this time with Constantinople's patriarch.
I'm looking for a conservative protestant church.
Had a argument with monks six months ago, who were incredibly prosemites. Told them this.
Protestant misses several books and Church history, unfortunately
You'd basically need to be Protestant in name only, some kind of Anglican tier with icons etc
Neither.
Bible believing Christian.
He was a jew
BUMP FOR JUSTICE
More lutheran than anglican.
Anglican have ordained women. I don't want priests, only pastors, and I don't want women to preach.
Protestants miss several books because they were written in greek, it's just that. But being protestant doesn't mean you're not allowed to consider these books like unlegitimates, just you disagree with the Catholic Church.
He just said he wasn't a Judean. Are you deaf ?
Christ is King
Peace be with you, brothers.
How do you think the Church be to unite most of christians on Any Forums ?
The major point, I think, is an intolerance of degeneracy. LGBTCIA shouldn't be tolerated. Second should be racial : it's important to love your own race.
But that's political. What about uniting Any Forums, religiously ?
>How do you think the Church be to unite most of christians on Any Forums ?
By learning about Christ through his teachings and not focusing much on sects or denominations.
Nice, but again, what does it mean ?
I mean I have a friend who turned communist (modern communist) and want to be a mason and he told me he believed Jesus was communist too.
"learning about Christ through his teachings" is nice and all, but what does that mean ?
Talking about the word of God, (The Holy Bible), the teachings of Christ (discussing and understanding his parables). Discussing the contents of apocryphal books of the Bible. I'm not sure.
Amen. A minimal belief set that crosses all boundaries is better than a rigid and fragile one that has many dependencies. I think it is possible to be scientific about faith in the sense that we can separate what we definitely believe and know to be true from finer details that are speculated on.
>my strain is the one true strain!
>how do i know? well, check out this verse
>if you interpret it this way, then bla bla bla bla
>what's that? what if that interpretation is wrong? IMPOSSIBLE!
Good start, but not enough.
What you say is /lit/related. Maybe there is already a Bible general on /lit/, I don't know, but here we discuss about faith, because faith is political and the Bible isn't. What we should trust and what we should fight
