It's a never ending journey of moral development, discernment, and inner chasteness. Inner peace is the very font of moral authority itself. Has to be differentiated from mere revenge or barbarism. But dont let your enemies fool you into thinking it doesnt exist in order to pacify you. Every man needs a pistol to defend his honour. Where does the honour come from? Muslims aren't the only one with an honour culture, Europeans had one, Japanese have one, every high civilization requires men to maintain their dignity. No sucker punches or surprise drivebys.
