I work for a psychiatrist and nearly every patient under age 20 is seeing him because their life is completely fucked up from sexual abuse or drug addicted parents. It's incredibly rare for a child to have behavioral problems that are severe enough to warrant mental help unless on of those two things happened.
I know everyone thinks this, but it still needs to be said. People who molest kids need to be put before a firing squad after a swift trial. The child's word must be given more weight than any jury's opinion. Not jail. Not prison. Death.
These kids have so many problems. The foster care system basically guarantees they are permanently ruined. Its not just the caretakers either, its the other kids. They do to each other what was done to them. The worst thing about drug addict parents is if the kids don't have grandparents or other safe options, they get put in foster care. Thet get one of the two worst options. I could go on but I'm tired of thinking about this shit.

I spent 5 years as a teacher before I got out. System is beyond fucked. I loved helping the kids and that's why I stayed in it so long, but shitty parents and shitty administration burned me out.
On the subject of the subject of sexual misconduct b/w teachers and kids, I agree with another poster here. Firing squad, or at the least severe punishment. However, we should still keep in mind that it's the dumb woke agenda that's seeping into schools systems. If parents are bringing kids to drag shows, and allowing them unrestricted internet access, then it's partly their fault that our society sexualizes children so much.
