yeah, nigger. every 2nd gen in the area i live in is multilingual. they speak english with little to no problem (because they were born here, and picked it up in school, from tv, family members, and just living where everyone except their 1st gen relative speaks english); sometimes they are translating for their 1st gen parents or older relatives. some of the 3rd gens don't know any spanish at all. it's probably different in the south-west and california, but i don't live there. i'm interested in seeing what percentage of the 4th gens know spanish. the only times the multilingual ones really use spanish when is when they're talking to 1st gen relatives.

it was easy for me to learn japanese because i watch so much japanese media. sure there are some novels and movies i want to read/watch in spanish but nothing really made today that you can't find elsewhere. especially since everyone is a slave.
