the origin of 'policeman' is 'man of the polis' or man of the city. law and order is required if you want a functioning society. Cops are around to discourage and punish behaviour that is detremental to society: murder, theft, destruction of property etc.
Over the few weeks that CHAZ was a thing they accidentally created a police force.
Cops represent the society. Extremely corrupt contries have extremely corrupt police (brazil, mexico)
Cuck contries have cuck police (europe)
Authoritarian countries has authoritarin police (russia, china)
