Which of these countries are the most nightmarish to live in, i've seen lots of youtube videos about streets of India and Bangladesh and boy oh boy. When the British took over India by dethroning the Mughal Empire and the Maratha Confederacy, they took over a vast military and navy, once divided, under unified command. In addition, they took over an organized society centered around labour -- Asiatic Means of Production -- what Marx called it. India had long roads and waterways (Uttarapatha and Dakshinapatha), maintained by Indian states from the Mauryans to the Marathas, thus allowing massive integration of economy since the ancient times. British industrialization over this would've been a blessing and Britain would be a spacefaring supapowa.
Indian armies that Britain defeated were modernized with infantry, musketry, and rocketry for the 1700s.
What did Britain do instead? The might of the Indian army was used to sell Opium to the chinks, suppress some ooga booga kangs in Burma, and Afghanistan. And took a civilization that was decent for 1700s standards, and left 3 giant shitholes in 1947.
Germans taking over India would've been better, they would've either genocided us or turn us into a martial civilization. It's why Germans today still have industry despite being defeated twice while supapowa Britain has deindustrialized.
