Im a pallet jack operator atm as a summer job, in Italy I make 1000 euros a month, rent goes from 400 to 600 at minimum, food 100 if you eat like a rat or 200 normal, then theres electricity and gasoline etc other 100, I live with parents so doesnt matter rn, but I looked up how much you make in the us and its approx 18 an hour in Houston, so 2800 a month, and on Zillow I found good houses at 600 to 800 dollars, but idk the place so idk, anyway for the same basic job I'd go from basically 0 disposable income to approx 1300, seems like another planet

You should go to school.

How much a carpenter or plumber makes where you live? I bet it's like 3000+.

You won't make $18/hour as a pallet jack operator, that's for damn sure.

He probably looked at forklift jobs lol.

Bear in mind you will lose 20-35% in tax...and forced 200$ a month healthcare, which still ends up costing you thousands if you actually need it...i could go on and on...

Go into automotive engineering, do a 2 year tech school if nothing else.

He also failed to account for income tax, etc. He thinks he gets to keep all of his gross pay instead of net pay.

2800 is definitely in the untaxed bracket, he would get everything minus SS and medicare back as a refund.

Are you out of your mind? The cost is way higher in the USA. Any house you looked is either a room advertisement or a crack den where you will be stabbed and robbed within a week. Gasoline will cost you overall way more in USA since you have to drive everywhere. Health insurance will cost you majorly.

And there are niggers, of course.

Maybe you get to 2000 after a decade of experience, otherwise 1200 to 1600 approx

Btw I'm doing uni this is a summer job but just goes to show how shit jobs are here, even with a degree you'll make 1300 to 1700

I know all of that but still you get more real income even if nominal prices are higher

Also I looked on indeed and it said 18 an hour In Houston

True i forgot income tax but my point still applies

Godspeed user!

>You make $18 an hour as a pallet jack operator in America
Absolutely not
>Houses for $600 in Houston
Lol, lmao.
>I'd have more disposable income
You won't. Even if all the numbers you said were correct all it takes is one visit to the doctor to be short $50,000 (plus tip)

Blessed forklift operator thread.

Except OP isn't one.

>i forgot income tax
>btw I'm doing uni (aka college)
>I live with parents so doesnt matter rn,

You are unfit.

then make it better you useless parasite

One of the main reasons that we are currently living in this shit show is because if \\of people like yourself.
NPC's who sees some place better than the place you are in currently, so instead of looking at the better place for inspiration. you fucking niggers jump ship

We brag about our PRE-tax income.
Subtract 30% for taxes
Subtract $300/mo for (((health insurance)))
If you have $800 rent here, it's the ghetto. Try $1,300.

*Ahem*

roll

Not my problem.

>not living in a free income tax state

You're massively overstating what you'd make in the USA. 2800 a month? Kek!

>be American
>make about $17k a month
>live rent free (wife’s company pays for apartment)
>WFH and haven’t worn pants in 2 years
