What is the problem of value? How does information assymetry distort prices? How does subsidy undermine competition and distort prices? Do societies with a high degree of liberty have healthier economies than authoritarian societies? What does the historical record demonstrate in terms of success when contrasting communist societies with market-oriented ones?
I'm more of a Nordic welfare state social democrat type and loathe the modern American enslavement economy, but I'd honsetly rather have that than some Soviet-tier famine.
