What are the political implications of six states losing their primary source of hydro electric power?

OLD NEWS
KYS

lakes disappear seasonally all the time. Y'all are satanists spreading this climate cult bs. Climate change is faker than corvid19, fuck off

50b to Ukraine, what about the 100b to Israel?

Implications?
We're building a giant pipeline, straight from the Great Lakes to our country's most important cities. Californians shouldn't have to suffer simply because White Midwesterners are greedy.

sir, thats mondays

I guess the Boomers are gonna get that damned plane after all

This happened because California's water right allocation figures are based on a year of far above average rainfall, the state's population has exploded since then, they refuse to build more reservoirs, they allow half of the water supply to run out into the ocean every year because of some worthless delta fish, and for some reason every adjacent state has decided to enable them by providing more water for them to waste.

It's not a natural lake. Nature is just taking it back. Sucks building in the desert, but play stupid games, win etc.

that would be 150b to israel

>stop delivering water to CA
>problem solved

It's fucking nothing. The dam has a name plate rating of about 2 GW, but it doesn't always generate that much.
>How is the firm energy generated at Hoover Dam allocated?
>Arizona - 18.9527 percent
>Nevada - 23.3706 percent
>Metropolitan Water District of Southern >California - 28.5393 percent
>Burbank, CA - 0.5876 percent
>Glendale, CA - 1.5874 percent
>Pasadena, CA - 1.3629 percent
>Los Angeles, CA - 15.4229 percent
>Southern California Edison Co. - 5.5377 percent
>Azusa, CA - 0.1104 percent
>Anaheim, CA - 1.1487 percent
>Banning, CA - 0.0442 percent
>Colton, CA - 0.0884 percent
>Riverside, CA - 0.8615 percent
>Vernon, CA - 0.6185 percent
>Boulder City, NV - 1.7672 percent

I can't believe you're not sending $200b to Israel today? You fucking antisemite, this is another shoah!

It does supply LV with water, but again, that's not a biggie

Don't try to short-change the $200b you owe them

It's not the electricity you should be worried about. It's the agriculture that relies on the flow of water from Lake Mead that should scare the shit out of you.

B-but Trump and Tucker told me there is no global warming?!

Climate change demands they stop their farming activity.

Droughts happen in deserts

Literally only California’s problem. Las Vegas recycles it’s water. Lake Meads water will stay in Las Vegas when it can no longer flow down stream to California. Las Vegas reuses all water that hits a drain. Vegas will be fine. Beaners in Southern California will be thirsty.

>It does supply LV with water, but again, that's not a biggie
There is an intake at 865' which is about 200' below the current water level (~1050').

It’s not climate change that’s causing Lake Meade to disappear you fuckwit, it’s because of water resource over extraction, meaning it is being used up faster than it can be replenished. You can see what happened to the Aral Sea and similarly what is happening to Lake Chad. It is disappearing because of over utilization (mostly) - the Aral Sea is completely gone.
It was foolish to have large cities in the desert. Our fake heads of state believe shit can’t hit the fan though because they would sooner pipe in water from the Great Lakes region. For those paying attention to this issue, this is where real state vs. state warfare will begin, as in civil war. States may try and plunder others for water - this is just conjecture but imagine what would happen if Vegas, LA, etc ran out of water. It would be apocalyptic and people would kill to save their families.

If they don't, Mother Nature will. Maybe we shouldn't be exporting food to gooks and niggers.

That's not even Lake Mead, it's the Virgin River Basin. Climate change is all fake propagandists.

It's expected to fall another 20 feet by the end of the year. It need to fall 40 before power gets shut off. California gets cut off before this happens, at which point the levels will start rising again.
