I think tank drones the size of those robo dogs shooting AKs would be a lot easier to manufacture and iron out faults. These are creepier due to the organic movements but they still got a ways to go unless the military complex is intentionally showing us old tech and the real deal is already in production.

Just use thin steel cable, fishing line, piano wire, ect as an area denial tool against robots. They would likely become tangled and need human intervention, which makes them very vulnerable.
