Idk that video but I do know that for decades (literally) there has been a push to flatline the Roman and Medieval warm periods to make the current period seem unprecedented. Michael "Hide the Decline" Mann tried pulling this shit. HadCRUT tried pulling this shit. NASA has too many scientists, including too many dissenters, to corral everyone (so far). But being a FedGov agency they only push climate change believers in front of the media.
The GCMs all run away high (pic related) against observation. CO2 is a minor GHG with no major positive feedbacks. And if there are no major positive feedbacks then you're looking at maybe 1-1.5C total forcing from a doubling of pre-industrial CO2.
