Corporations can provide room, board, uniforms and a monthly allowance at a company store for employees other needs. That is more than enough of a reward for the average worker.

This makes me seethe. After Brexit there was a period of wage growth, where fewer immigrants meant domestic workers were being offered higher wages. The (((CBI))) and other lobbies got to the govt and Johnson the snake flung open the door to a million non-EU immigrants to drive wages back down.

Fork lift and warehouse positions went up from 19 to 27 an hour where I will be working in august. People would just quit to go to an easier position even if it pays less.
