Batteries in production harm the ecological world a lot more than nuclear fusion. Same can be said for Windmills and Solarpanels, that kill off a considerate amount of bird populations. The WEF is not eco friendly, it has simply chosen a specific industry tree to push and that's that.
3) Their ideas of open societies and openness is naturally not compatible with the human condition and trying to genetically change us just to bring us a Happy Tree Friend lookalike society isn't going to work in our or their favor as they think. The end result will be a total mess and more division than ever before.
That's all assuming goodwill play a role here. Of course we know that's just window dressing to make the changes look nice for the dummies out there.
