houses are built to a code. A "stick shack" is just as likely to blow apart in a hurricane as a brick house is. If the brick house is old, it is more likely.

The windows seem a little off. No roof windows. There is barely going to be natural light on the upper floor. And that fence for the uper windows seems retarded. Why not just add a little balcony so you don't have to fear to open your windows and feel like in a prison cell? Other than that this is a fine house and it fits into nature. Nothing screams more globohomo than brutalistic flat roof houses.
