The biggest problem is that we have millions of people who are too stupid to think more than a few minutes ahead so asking them to be responsible for signing up for insurance for themselves is just too much

There isn't a true heatlhcare system option that keeps checks and balances with good costs and good care, it just essentially outsources the responsibility and they all share the usury profits. The insurance companies work with the medical offices. The medical offices work with the pharma companies. The pharma companies work with the insurance companies. Primary care is a decent start, but we have to keep checks and balances on each part of the operation (mainly insurance companies, they are the ones that truly set the healthcare costs). If they can't sell an affordable plan that keeps competition active with pharma and the hospitals, then what's the use of even fucking signing up, lol.
