Regional volunteer battalions to be sent to Ukraine (the list is incomplete): • Bashkiria - 2 battalions: named after the Hero of the USSR Minigali Shaymuratov and the Hero of Russia Alexander Dostavalov • Karelia -2 battalions • Kirov region - battalion "Vyatka" • Moscow - 1 battalion • Murmansk region - 1 battalion • Nizhny Novgorod region - battalion named after Kuzma Minin • Orenburg region - battalion "Yaik" • Perm Territory - 2 battalions: "Parma" and "Hammer" • Primorsky Krai - battalion "Tiger" • Tatarstan - 2 battalions: "Alga" and "Timer" • Tyumen region - 3 battalions: "Tobol", "Taiga", Siberia" • Chelyabinsk region - 2 battalions: "Southuralian", "South Ural" (very original, yes) • Chechnya - 4 battalions: "South-Akhmat", "North-Akhmat", "East-Akhmat", "West-Akhmat" • Chuvashia - battalion "Atal" The number of battalions varies depending on the region, in most cases we are talking about at least 200 fighters. Thus, up to 10 thousand volunteers can go to Ukraine in the near future. All units (including Chechen ones) are under the control of the Ministry of Defense. It is curious that the geography of regional volunteerism does not cover (yet) the southern regions (Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Stavropol, etc.). Probably, the movement of volunteers there is formed according to a different scheme - through the Cossacks: it is known that the number of Russian Cossack formations in the SMO zone already exceeds 5 thousand bayonets and continues to grow.
Previously, we assumed that "named" battalions would be formed in Tatarstan, but we slightly missed the mark - the authorities of Bashkiria came up with such an initiative. One Bashkir battalion is named after the Soviet General Minigali Shaimuratov, who died during the liberation of the Luhansk region from the Nazis in 1943. The other is in honor of a native of Ufa, a Russian paratrooper, a hero of Russia, Alexander Dostavalov, who fell in battle with Chechen fighters at an altitude of 776 in 2000

it's not completely implausible. cruise missiles are designed to fly very close to the ground to shield it from enemy AA so if that guy was in the exact path of the missile he could have had a shot at it

>• Moscow - 1 battalion For 20 million of inhabitants. Muscowy should burn.
going by my rudimentary knowledge of Russian geography(EU4 really) a lot of these regions are quite far from the "heartland".
Is patriotism for the country actually present in the far flung regions of the federation or is it mostly desperate people in need of work. Or a combination of both perhaps.

Pre-sonic cruise missile is not very hard to be taken down with manpad.
bros making the /chug/ regulars image for this month, wondering what you think of the picrel flag selection am i missing some/do you think some should be removed?

>shoot down something going 5x faster than your projectile It is completely implausible
Anyone knows about the "spare turbine" narrative and it's validity? Qrd: Some German newspaper alleges that the turbine we sent to Canada isn't even the right one and they got the spare that didn't even need a fixing. Now the turbine Canada sent to Germany is essentially "lost" And is quite literally a pr meme by 2 countries. Considering the force majeure Gasprom declared no one is under any delusion that NS1 will actually go online by 22th.
Thx, all of those that are post-70s have been quite good, the bad ones are the ones without elevator, but we have those too. The houses itself are kind of the same, but the distribution of the districit is simply really really good in Soviet planning >30m^2 Well, just like those new pato-developments
In other news, a Russian tennis player came out as lesbian and has a girlfriend a Russian-Estonian tennis player who she called her "cutie pie" in a instagram post with them together. pic related.
She lives and trains in Spain. Calls for an end to the war and broke down in tears when told her comments and positive LGBT message means its unlikely she'll ever be allowed back into Russia which is making positive LGBT messaging and narratives illegal.
In essence, literal bottom of the barrel useful puppets for agenda's. Ukraine and its globohomo backers is fast running out of things to use.
Makes me wonder if either they get paid fuck all, and put no effort in as a result, or if this is genuinely the best they can come up with. I don't really know which is worse.
