Scythians are herder culture that interacted minimally with the 'civilizee world' at the time. Their two major contacts with civilization were:
1. Sumerian refugees fleeing from Akkadian invasions, which brought some knowledge of writing and organized societies
2. Basically mycenean Greeks landed in the area forever ago and they forgot about the place... the coasts had little fresh water, so people were forced to move inland, and became part of the nomadic horse cultures
3. Aryan groups from central asia traded with them, and those aryans descended south and became Persians much later
This created the Scythian people.

Where it gets interesting is where the Scythian lineage is from. Their immediate ancestor are Corded Ware pottery culture to about 3000BCE, this predates contact with the 'civilized' sumerians and myceneans.
The ancestor of the Corded Ware culture are Western Steppe Herder culture 4000BCE, basically pre-europeans, they spread to Norway and Europe.
The ancestor to those are the Eastern Hunter Gatherers, which domesticated large number of animals, and seemed to have a more unified civilization before - due to gene drift.
And the earliest ancestor to the Eastern Hunter Gatherers is a blonde man from the ice age 15,000BCE, genetically tested and confirmed as having the same gene variants found in the culture that buried Gobekli Tepe.

Lol no. Scythians spoke an eastern Iranian language, most related to Yaghnobi, Pamiri or old Tajik. Not a Slavic language. Scythians were also R1a-Z93 or related haplogroups. Not Baltic Z92 or Slavic CTS3014. Those haplgroups are rare in Slavic countries unless they have a Tajik or Tatar ancestor.
