Fascism is Socialism?

Can someone tell me what the difference between socialism and fascism? I asked my TA and he just kinda sperged out saying that Hitler was a liar. I mean proper Mussolini fascism, none of Hitler's race based bullshit.

Fascism is nationalist and race based
Socialism is internationalist and class based
Socialist economies are the state and the state is considered an extension of the now free worker, money is abolished and everything is given and supplied according to need (of course, it never works that way)
Fascism still has markets and businesses but they are all nationalised and working for the interest of the state

>everything is an extention of the state
so why do these 2 ideologies hate eachother if they share a common goal?

It's all faggots.

Classical fascism is defined by extreme nationalism, demonization of "the other", plus union of government and corporations, and rule by a dictator.
Socialism is just government ownership of most businesses like utilities.

One furthers the interests of its people,
The other is an international subversive force that only empowers the international elite.

faggot faeces kek

Fascism is inherently racist, but not based on race, if that makes sense.

Because fascism is about the nation, blood and soil. Whilst Marxism is entirely about class, completely different world views.

They don't.

socialism is for people who hate working and want everyone to be poor, fascism is for people who love working and want everyone to be rich.

All economic models are capitalist. Whoever controls the capital decides what is done and how it is done. The state controls the capital in both Fascist and Marxist Socialist states (which is what I assume you mean by "socialist"). That's why they seem identical; there's state control of the means of production in both models, the fascists are just a more honest about the level of centralized control.

All distinctions and ideological motivations are little more than smoke and mirrors. All that exists are varying levels of centralized control as well as the quality of stewardship exercises by those with control.

>the symbol of fascism is a literal faggot

you sound like a huge faggot, but i guess the meme flag already foreshadowed that

Fascism wants to bring as many members of the population as possible as high as possible, communism wants to bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator.

second stage colonialism with humanitarian angle.

arbitrary definitions for something that is extremely relative and fluid.

shouldnt you be putting out fires Franco?

>arbitrary definitions for something that is extremely relative and fluid.
lol what? They aren't arbitrary, they are pretty much agreed upon. Maybe over simplified.
When you say "extremely relative" do you mean fascist and socialist definition vary between the groups that claim them, and even then they are fluid because they change within those group over time? Because I don't believe that is true

It's a literal faggot

A bunch of faggots used as a tool to disguise the axe that will murder people.

Why is this always the same?

Example of National Socialism solving the problems Marxists complain about.

in practice no government right now strictly adheres to paper idealogies they claim to be the same would be true under these types of governments but the line in the sand for defining what is and isnt is completely arbitrary.
