Sits on side of road

>sits on side of road
>sees vehicle coming 15 seconds away
>*waits*
>vehicle now 10 seconds away
>*turns to face vehicle*
>vehicle now 5 seconds away
>*waits*
>vehicle now 0.1 seconds away
>*expertly leaps under tire with pinpoint precision*
Why do they always do this instead of going 2 seconds before or 2 seconds after? They always perfectly time leaping right under the tire.

Checked, turtles will do that to you

Dunno but they're fucking good at it!

They hear the sound of the tires long before the engine, then they stop and listen, when they notice lights and engine they jump. At least that's how wildlife acts here.

These guys are even more retarded

Just normal Americans

>grooming your kids to flip the bird when they don't know what it means because it amuses grown adults
they will start smoking when they're 12

Because most predators notice movement. So they sit still as to not attract a potential predators attention. As the vehicle draws nearer the flight instinct finally kicks in and instead of running the opposite direction and risk being chase they dart into the path of the predator and then try to dart out of it to confuse the predator.

But what’s with the instinct to jump into the threat, bugs do this too it’s ducking stupid

dont you dare tell me how to raise my children.

I assume Myxomatosis and rabbit hepatitis are painful

It's how they earn knighthood

I don't think they're instinctively equipped to deal with the sound and speed of a car. I think that's why they end up jumping in front, they just don't know what the hell's going on.

Because they're tired of living, user.

Here have this
