The term anti-vaxxer was introduced long before the s-protein products against people who rejected actual vaccines for them and their children - pic rel. as these were like flat earthers and similarly ridiculed, the term was ideal to be used against gene therapy critics. nobody likes to be ridiculed and shamed publicly so everyone but the strongest (and the ones who simly do not give a fuck) left the sanity-camp. at this point it could be a danger so society if truth ever came out, so they make sure that there will never be certainty - by not supporting the collection of proper data, by not doing actual trials etc.
What seemed unique about this to me, was that they changed the definition for what a vaccine was, and they tried to lump it in with all other vaccines.

The most annoying part of this is that there will be no "I told you so" moment. They won't move through the 5 stages of grief, they'll just live in denial+anger+depression at the same time from their first negative symptom to their last breath. The idea that they and billions of others who trusted the establishment were wrong is too much to bear.
