7 earth mass planets, all of them potentially habitable with thick atmospheres, even the close ones because it could be cool on the night side. 39 light years away, could be a 80 year journey for a Jordin kare sail beam.
Come home...
Forget Mars humanity must move to Trappist-1
based and trappist-pilled
Fake and gay
humans are already there...you weren't invited.
>80 year journey
Doubt
>Trappist-1
That's where all the femboys and trannies live
I doubt its real
You can basically fling micro solar sails at a craft, ionize them with a onboard laser then reflect them with a magsail and accelerate to half the speed of light reasonably
You've figured it out user.
They've been here and they are here. And the bible records some of it. Our tech from the 60s could already and is already taking military expeditions to these places unless contact has already occured.

Before any interstellar travel is a thing the solar system will be heavily colonized. Anyway about the system itself it's a red dwarf star, which probably means none of those are habitable or anywhere close, they're all probably tidally locked, and at 0.1c it'd take about 400 years to get there.
Not bad. This is for even longer missions due to slow rate of acceleration however. Nuclear thermal rockets or prompt critical thrusters are sufficient to get our crafts to nearby solar systems and have been since the 60s.
Picrel is a probably manned nuclear thrust powered spacecraft... of relatively weak capability.
Tidally locked is kino, at 0.5c you can get there within one lifetime
Thicc TRAP planet you say...
Go on.
Incorrect. Interstellar travel has been possible since the 1960s and long before most likely with prior civilations and/or interstellar contact with Earth
A fellow stellaris enjoyer.
Respect the WIZ id. I know what I am talking about.
Kino
Personally I hope that Trappist-1 C has a a semi thick atmosphere hopefully less than half that of Venus's which would make the day side hot as hell but the night side would be 0-30 Celcius
>39 light years away, could be a 80 year journey for a Jordin kare sail beam.
so wait, i can POSSIBLY go take a glimpse of where my children will POTENTIALLY live if i travel back in time to when i was born and manage to life my entire life on a cramped spaceship then die when i get there? WOW SOUNDS GREAT WHERE DO I SIGN UP
My point is by the time interstellar flight is within our technical and industrial abilities most the solar system is already colonized and planets stop mattering for habitation.
>So every star system becomes prime real estate.
Based Estonian Mormon and his theological Belief in human colonies on other planets.
Life extension is a legit possibility in the next 20 years people will start to live in their hundreds
