Art and decadence

Is the obsession with perfecting art among elites an example of decadence?

scuplture bro scuplts for years, hundreds of girls swoon over him, and refuses to marry
they pray to aphrodite to smite him, and instead she breathes life into his greatest work and the 2 love haplily ever after

interesting. have a bump

it's the other way around
striving for perfection is a sign of health
nature promotes the strong, the healthy
beauty is the realized ideal

the jews promote monstrous 'art', a reflection of their decadent morals
modern art is incomprehensible, deceitful, grotesque, just like modern society

"Art for Art's sake is an empty phrase. Art for the sake of truth, art for the sake of the good and the beautiful, that is the faith I am searching for."

Art elevates those around it just as women do, this is a fascist principle.

This Brit does have a valid point though. The Chinese, and other “artistic” cultures had incompetent elites who obsessed over muh fashion and muh arts. Meanwhile the British crushed the mentioned cultures with their speed and constant competition and constant change and innovation, which is more masculine.

Thanks for that friend

art is personal though
industry requires controlling a sector
see jumanji

Also, what about striving for efficiency? It seems that Britain/America/Anglosphere’s emphasis on efficiency is what created conquerors and a masculine culture of competition and engineering .

There is some merit to it though. Look at history, look at Germany, Britain, America, NorthWest Europe, etc. If women hate competition, and if embracing competition and advancement is part of what makes a true man, then embracing the industrial revolution is apart of that. Only feminine cultures would prefer we just relax on the farms waiting to be conquered by someone willing to go through uncomfortable change. The Chinese elites shouldn’t have resisted technology but they preferred to just read poetry, truly *decadent*

It’s about the war like spirit that drives technology. Remember the Yamnaya and the wheel…we can’t be content with stagnation masked as mastering the arts, but we also shouldn’t be soulless

>art serves no purpose
people like this deserve the death penalty

Interesting story, I’m glad that man took pride in his work. Of course there would be situations where he’d have to expand his skills since one mastered skill might not keep up with the times

>powerseeking isn't decadent
ok there nigger

>Yamnaya and the wheel
The wheel was introduced via the Mediterranean by pre-IE groups and initially as part of a pulley mechanism.

Yamnaya just used chariots to traverse the Eurasian continent.

Also, technology is fine, but most of it is superfluous if not outright harmful.

>might not keep up
>hundreds of women curse your name
>come out on top
i dont think you understood my summary

artistic mastery usually goes hand in hand with technological sophistication, even in the modern era
anglos are outliers in this regard and this mostly stems from protestantism and its obsession with austerity
art strengthens cultural roots and a strong cultural identity gives meaning to its people; human beings are not robots
anglos mostly disregarded art in favor of efficiency, this left them open to cultural attacks from jews; it's no wonder why from all places in th europe england accepted jews in the 1600s

>but most of it is superfluous if not outright harmful.

Without technology we don’t have competition. Without competition we fall into stagnation and later decadence. We lose what made us great. But with technology things become more complex and precision, objective metrics, and discipline are needed even more. Remember the left prefers the arts over engineering for a reason (picrel) but both are important.

>art strengthens cultural roots and a strong cultural identity gives meaning to its people; human beings are not robots

True, I always noticed that the industrial and capitalist world never really understood this very well. A balance is always good. But If we stray away from objective metrics then our standards decline and we eventually degenerate, that is the product of being too artsy. You could say that Anglos and Protestant Europe (autistic efficiency) and Blacks (muh culture muh food) are on opposite end of the spectrum

>Without technology
Art is a technology.

The left doesn't know art even if it crawled up their ass.

Their art is satanic garbage these days
