so i haven't watched the show but from the summary, if the left does invoke martial law that would validate a theory i put out after trump started the stimulus checks with his name on the signature. its the inverse. the conservatives getting .gov bucks from bush and now trump and the left will declare marshall law. the plan is to take take the principals of each side and make them demand the opposite.

So I ready the bill and even followed along with Alex just in case I was missing something. This seems to be a nothingburger. Not martial law. Maybe a purge in the military? Most of this applies to the military.
What piece of this provides martial law? Short of WW3 I see no way to do that legally. That's not to say that people are not trying to put chess pieces in place. But the president already has war powers if we are actually at war and I don't see anything in this bill that gives war powers otherwise.
