Healthcare isn't really free in universal systems in Western Europe. You pay for it in taxes. The Soviet Union had "Free healthcare" , but still had to for things the government wouldn't cover like prescription drugs. Modern commies have no understanding of economics and wear Marxism like a fashion, parroting its terminology ("tendency of profit to go zero", "dictatorship of the proletariat", "bourgeoise") like they'd wear accessories. Old-school Marxists are still around and do make sound commentary about real problems with a capitalistic system, but you'll have never seen people as buck-broken and utterly bereft of hope as those people. Communism was based on the real exploitation of the working class by capital owners that regularly instrumentalized state power (forbidding unions, having soldiers fire upon protesters, etc.) and on the idea that workers should take ownership of capital so as to distribute the profit to themselves instead of the owner just harvesting it, but it clearly and consistently failed because the proposed solution of "we be running dis shit ownboy" gave no thought to political process of this and the propensity of dictatorships to develop out of the "vanguards" (see: Soviet Union, which neutered/banned trade unions and treated workers as slaves), and disregarded the utility of price as a signal which could regulate production and consumption (again the Soviet Union, where centrally set prices led to shortages beginning in the 70s, since producers couldn't raise prices in case of underproduction). Communism consistently snatched poverty from the jaws of abundance through countering and even overcoming the massive increase in productivity through industrialization and mechanization through the removal of price signals and well as supply- and demand-mechanics from the economy.
Putin will push for ceasefire within a month. If Ukraine doesn't take it and presents good reason to Western allies - then Putin regime will be over this year.
