What can Ukraine even throw to defend those areas? Their whole structure has gotten so weakened from what it was back at the start of the operation. Their most experienced fighters have suffered massive casulties, they heavily lack even basic APCs, not to mention tanks. Oil refineries have been just decimated that they are seriously lacking fuel to be able to operate the armour that they have left. Something tells me Russia is this time pushing to the far end to force Ukraine to surrender. With softened and demoralized enemy it should be rather easy task.

You will always have both melee and ranged equipped, so if your main weapon is a spear your sidearm would have to be a pistol and vice versa - if that makes sense. You kinda capture monsters, robots and soldiers etc. (a varied roster) Pokemon style, whom have their own set of AI you can customize and link together with other units instead of just teaching them 4 moves. Your units have their own ATB turn-based battle system that plays out in real time and those units can only be replenished if they die under certain conditions in the field.
So, yes, I'll put a race of catgirls in the game, I want nothing more than this game to be fun and enjoyable.

Don't be too hard on the Wunderwaffel: It's pretty clear the US is sending shit in small amounts to virtue signal while having the ability to test some systems out. 6 HIMARS or 50 M777s were never ever going to make any dent. The Switchblade is an utter farce, so is the British Shartstreak missile.
But case in point, the HIMARS and the M777 were used out of doctrine in tiny amounts by crews trained in a 2 week crash course. In a proper conflict, they could have a larger impact.
