The most ironic thing about all this is that not only does lying and shaping the narrative and injecting personal biases destroy public trust in journalism, but it also makes *substantially* more work for journalists.
Like... how much less work is it to just collect and report the facts of an incident without all the bullshit versus spending hours and hours and hours manipulating and distorting the facts to fit a narrative?
