"Late stage capitalism" is a leftie larp. Capitalism, in their eyes, has been "late stage" every year since the beginning of the Soviet Union. Really, what they're describing is whan a nation's economy has been adequately wrecked by leftoid bullshit that people are looking for someone to blame, (and are disallow from blaming the actual culprits, obviously) and are willing to try a new system. Remember, if capitalism's failure was truly inevitable there would be no need for leftist activism. The result would be corollary. The fact that they care so much reveals that they are in fact making a concerted effort to deconstruct capitalist economies, and that they do not actually believe that without them doing so capitalism will self destruct on it's own.
