desu if its a hot day and you are in artillery you might as well as you are far away from the frontline and the only threat to you is enemy's air munitions or counter artillery
people claim that russia has a surplus of this or a surplus of that but how true is that? they lacked the proper jets for one of their carries so to show off they literally repainted the numbers for the planes that returned and sent them out again and they have being selling their stock to other countries

if i was in artillery and it is a hot day i would likely remove my coat or even shirt depending on the weather if i knew the enemy was far away too, it doesnt really seem that special especially if you have been doing that for awhile when you are in a routine of an artillery man and all you do is fire shells and change position, compared to being on the frontline you tend to start to do some stuff to make you more comfy even if it looks lazy

It's a mixture of doomposting and Russia, shillposting. Russia "has" huge stockpiles of weapons/munitions, in reality they have some good stuff, lots of bad stuff, lots of stolen stuff that may or may not be returned in the distant future, lots of broken stuff and the potential to keep making decent quantities of certain things like artillery shells.
