However, coal that you burn, that is something German greens can relate to. Coal comes from the Earth, it is organic in nature, it was once living matter. Burning it is like burning wood or other biomass, it’s green as it has no machines or “nuclear” things.
So why are journalists questioning the rational of Germany to shut down nuclear and fire up coal power plants? It’s rational, it’s green, it’s organic.

When a persons brain has gone longer than 10 minutes without oxygen, they are effectively and truly “brain dead” as in, there is absolutely nothing going on in their minds, they are just a sack of meat that is still breathing on a ventilator. At that point the go to option is to euthanize them, or in other words, kill them. People who actually think nuclear power isnt “clean” or that nuclear waste is actually a problem or something difficult to deal with, fit the profile of obviously having gone without oxygen to the brain for over 10 minutes. Euthanizing them would be the best option. Moreover, doing experiments on their bodies to find out what extremes the human body can survive would be economical in a scientific sense, and it would be no problem for the nuclear power fearing subjects because they effectively do not have a brain, so there would be no subjective pain or suffering, no matter how extreme the experiments/torture. .

We could literally have a chernobyl event every single DAY for an entire YEAR and kill fewer people than coal/oil air pollution does. Most people when they think of chernobyl, they imagine hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of people died.
30 people died at chernobyl. ALL of them were first responders or workers at the plant. No other major incident at any nuclear power plant has even come close to that amount, yet we regularly see oil refinery fires, oil tanker crashes, environmental dumping and all sorts of pollution from every other form of power generation that kill hundreds per year on a good year.
Nuclear is the only form of power generation that actually sequesters the entirety of its pollution - most of which isn't even pollution, but re-usable nuclear fuel if you have a breeder reactor designed for it.
