Why do Zoomers love taking pics of food?

>According to a survey done by News Limited, "54 per cent of 18–24 year olds have taken a photo of their food while eating out, while 39 per cent have posted it somewhere online. This compares with only 5 per cent of over-50s who say they share food snaps on forums such as Facebook and Twitter.

What are the political implications of this?

I'm thinking it was a forced "trend" that is essentially just free advertising for restaurants and fast food.
Some high-up marketing fags probably got together and somehow made it the "cool thing to do" about a decade ago

it gets kinda addictive if you do it for a while, I was asked by my sister to take pics of food when I went on vacation which I normally wouldn't do but once you start you kind of just start taken tons of pics out of habit, then when the vacation was over I would just stop

Surrogate activities for others and narcissistic driven material status signaling.

Beta behavior

Status and attention

Is that the guy from key of awesome?
Kinda bummed they gave up.

Chad activity

I'm not a Zoomer but if I have a particularly nicely presented meal or if something really impresses me, I like to take a picture of it.

Food pics will be the new porn after the collapse.

Only time I've ever posted a picture of food was send a pic on snapchat of my Christmas dinner wishing people a merry christmas. I wouldn't do it just on a normal meal out though..

Social media teaching people to broadcast shit no one cares about, turning a generation of people into narcissistic sociopaths

the only food pictures you should take are of your own hand made food, everything else is faggot behavior

nothing is real unless it is digitally represented on social media as sence data for the global ai.

Don't think it's just a zoomer thing. It's been a thing ever since cameras got small and pictures became pure uploadable data.
I dunno, some people really want to remember that aesthetic plate of steak many years in the future or perhaps get upvotes on social media.

it's normal, never go outside and still take pics of all my food
