A North London man kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman who was 'bleeding profusely' from her head after she fell down the stairs at a London Tube station. He offered to help the 19-year-old who had tripped, hit her head badly causing her skull to be exposed and broken her wrist, at Bond Street station. Instead of going for help, he disguised himself as a TfL worker, he took her to a basement and attacked her. He has now been jailed for four years.
Sharif Abbas, 31, of Nightingale Road, Haringey, offered to help the young woman after spotting her bleeding from the head as she sat down in the station and he led her out of the station before leading her to the basement of a nearby building. He told her he needed to examine her while in the basement and went on to sexually assault her whilst she continued to suffer from her injuries.

The unfortunate reality of most of these situations. As a society of people we need to come together and deal harsher punishments in general when handling crime, but especially to those whose crimes are deemed unfathomable toward the morality of human life.
A convicted sex offender who moved to the north from Croydon without anybody checking up on him went on to slash a teenager's throat on a bus. Hamid Akhonzada, 26, was sitting behind a young couple on a bus when he grabbed the 17-year-old by the hair, held his head back and dragged a steak knife across his throat. Akhonzada fled the scene of the attack in Runcorn, Cheshire, and headed back to Croydon where he had previously lived. He was arrested on May 14, 2021, six days after the bus attack.
