Can the democrats even win the midterms? How would the Republicans fix all this?

With Biden’s failure to achieve a deal with Saudi Arabia for more oil resources, a declining support among the people who voted him in and protests in many other countries about oil, likely to make it to America soon, how can Biden claw back a win?

Could he authorise Texas and the other oil rich states to start drilling so the republicans can’t take claim for it when they win office? What’s the plan here?

During the 2020 election, it was fairly plausible to say that the democrats had properly won an election due to the state of the country that year under trump, but with much less support behind him, it seems almost impossible for the dems to win unless they steal it, which this time, would be investigated much more thoroughly by officials and much easier to uncover. And hell, would the republicans even try to fix the oil crisis going on right now or are they just plants aswell?

Dems can't win. Republicans can't fix shit but at least they won't be approving insanely shit tranny nominees anymores put up by the Biden admin.

His next two years will be lame duck.

the republikikes will never win again
its all AOC from now on

There's a new latina and she's even more based than AOC
Her name is Maya Flores

Either way the left wins.
Scenario 1 - roe v. wade stirs the left to go vote and/or the right just fucks up
Scenario 2 - the right wins both chambers and then does nothing, which they'll certainly achieve OR simply adopt all the ideas of the left.

i want a politican who will tear apart the constitution and laugh in boomer's faces literally

By granting renewed oil leases, by permitting drilling to happen again, by restarting fuel refineries with tax money so that the companies aren't as shy about restarting operations, and by striking down with a federal mandate California's anti-truck emissions ruling which is single-handedly responsible for most of the supply chain problems with half the country. Goods are brought to the LA port and then just sit there because no one will transport them.

Can't do any of this without the presidency

Fuck it i am tiered of all this shit
West-cucks (USA, UK and France) fucked and continue to fuck the middle east usinsg isreal and iran
Greec and italians bros, plz retake the middle east

is it over for amefrica?

We can pump more oil! Supply isn’t the issue here, it’s refining capacity. Lots of refineries decommissioned during the pandemic. Companies don’t want to do major investments for new ones while democrats are saying they will shut them down for the climate.

T.work in oil industry

The Republicans can pass laws that open up Keystone and the drilling rights.
Either Biden goes along or vetoes the Law
If he goes along the Republicans get seen as the common sense party solving problems.
If Biden vetoes he comes off as a slave to extremists and an obstructionist.

Biden , or more likely Harris, will have a tough time post midterm. They will have to decide if they would rather been seen as the Republicans bitch or obstructionists that love the hard left more than the Country.

>Could he authorise Texas and the other oil rich states to start drilling
The majority of onshore oil in the US is on private land. The oil companies don't need "authorization" or "blessings" from the president in order to drill. They could go all out drilling right now if they wanted to, but they don't, or maybe they can't. Remeber decline never sleeps in the oil patch, and all the shale wells brought online over the last 15 years decline very rapidly.

Oil companies don’t even want to start new projects in this political environment. With Dems saying they will stop all oil by 2030, etc.

So if the republicans got into power in the midterms they could essentially convince oil companies to start drilling again? Are there any major republicans in favour of nuclear energy or geothermal vents?

They did nothing the last super majority

the cost of gas isnt about local availability. its dictated by global market rates
producing more oil wont work unless you produce enough to affect the entire global market. which wont happen

During a regular mid term the Dems would probably still lose but because they are the party in power
BUT they have an advantage because more republican seats are up for vote.
That being said, it will be a blood bath for them.
Unless the mid-term Covid variant means they can stuff ballot drop boxes again

>destroy our own natural resource production
>create tranny legislature
No, they won’t do that

The effectiveness of any Legislation is largely irrelevant .
What can be reasonably sold to the populace is what matters. If my sales pitch is Three words and the message takes " Republicans solving problems" and your rebuttal takes more than 10 seconds " While the drilling may have an effect long term it will have no immediate impact as it won't reach refineries for years" I win.

See CRT for real world application.

>so if rebuicans came into power

It certainly would give oil companies more confidence in long term investments. I’m sure they’d still be worried about Dems coming back in 2-4 years though.

>any in favor of nuclear?

Not to my knowledge, unfortunately. Oil, gas (Rebubs) and green energy (dems) companies have a lock on politicians in our country. Most of the country was scared by propaganda in 1980s, 90s with 3 mile island and chernoble

they rigged 2020 and gave every judge a script to throw out any questioning, every election is false now

I really wish people would start protesting for nuclear plants and geothermal vents as an energy replacement

dems will be wiped out in the mid-terms. and the republicans have no interest in "fixing" anything.

the dems will always win
