Kherson counteoffensive has been canceled. Million man uber army has been put on standby until further notice.
"There will be no counteroffensive on Kherson yet," - Minister of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov
Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov denied his own words in an interview with the British The Times about the preparation of a counteroffensive in the south. Now, in an interview with the Ukrainian service of the BBC, Reznikov said:
"Let's just say, there was a bit of misunderstanding (misunderstanding), I was misunderstood. I didn't say that we are gathering a million-strong army for a counterattack on Kherson. Forgive my English, it's not my native language."
Earlier, Zelensky refused to comment on Reznikov's words about alleged plans to recapture Kherson.

doesn't change the fact the people are there, the assymetry between Russian and Ukrainian cadres is ridiculous. Ukrs have 600k+ people rotating in and out of short spats of light combat to train them for 4 months now. Russians got, what, 230k people total? Russia is fighting the original force in the East, but isn't massing forces like Ukraine. Is Putin being deceived? Kind of looks like that to me, because even if Russia goes full retard, goes into war and drafts 2 mln people they won't have the needed momentum. It takes 6 months to really train up someone enough to be something more than an automated turret.

Also check how many HIMARS Romania's getting. Number is not the issue, I think. Just the volume of American rockets pounding down on Russian logistics. If logistics collapse enough that artillery won't be getting shells for weeks on end Ukrs will in fact push their manpower advantage.

You retards forget, that through this war, there is no record of single major battle Ukraine actually won. They didnt inflict the defeat on surrounding Kiev troops - they were btfo in every confrontation with them, most notably Hostomel.
We coudnt have occupied Kiev with the troops gathered here, but we sure could have destroyed it if wanted to.

You're unable to win and idling while Ukraine is finishing to form up into a larger fighting force. Nothing changed from what I was saying besides Ukraine not using fresh recruits to slogfest it out. I didn't expect just their initial force to be able to hold so I thought things would come to a head sooner rather than later.
How are you going to win? You're Russians with numerical disadvantage. Like zerglings trying to rush a larger blob of stronger units. Only limit is what ukrops are willing to sacrifice while winning. You won't get an upper hand again unless the war drags on for 7+ years and by that time it'll be part of a word war.

Our source in the Office of the President said that the General Staff was furious that the Minister of Defense revealed the tactical plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the counteroffensive. After the debriefing at Bankovaya, Aleksey Reznikov said that he did not talk about the offensive to the south - he was misunderstood.
