Were the 90s, especially the early 90s, pretty much another world from today in how much better it was? How does the happiness of the regular American compare to today? How about quality of life, and the economy?
I know there was still a lot of political bullshit back then like the Gulf War, and the shit in Ruby Ridge and Waco. Speaking of which, why haven't we seen a major fed massacre like those since?
Politically speaking, how much better/worse off was America in the 1990s?
Oh you mean the last generation of kids that regularly played outside and didn't stare at phones all day long? Yes, it was great

Checked. Although the 90s were the decade that the media started blasting predator scare stories causing all parents to forbid their kids going outside. It stated then, not with iPads.

The G7 decided to kill you all in 94, so that's about right.
Sitting on the edge of your bed, no internet, plop Secret of Mana into your SNES, play it while the radio is on to the side of you with your favorite local station playing your favorite local music. Someone calls in a request and dedicates it to someone. You know that person. You think to yourself how cool it is that you know that person. You sip your sunny delight. You charge up your spear and kill some monsters. You don't want to stay up too late tonight, because tomorrow all the kids are going to be out on the street at about 8am so you guys can skateboard and ride bikes literally all day. You're also going to go pick some tangerines from the neighbors tree at around noon like you always do. You love the tangerines so much, and they seem to never be out of season.

Hear, hear brother. It all went to hell after the Zionist attack on 9/11/2001.
Twin Peaks the Return is very fitting for this thread. We cannot bring back the past, and pale imitations of it will only bring us more sadness. We must move forward in our own way
