My pharmacist had a bunch of these cards from different providers in his drawer and would usually go through them to get the best price on perceptions. I live in a smaller town though so he had the time to do it. I remember once he got a perception down from $250 to $15. My doctor was also awesome before he died. It was usually a $40 visit and he would sometimes give me enough medicine samples to cover my whole treatment. I remember once he gave me a full treatment for tapeworms in his office and made sure I took the first phase properly there in his office. I keep trying to find a primary doctor as competent as him but most offices just put you through to a nurse practitioner and they're not very competent. Specialists tend to be great though. Unfortunately it seems like family medicine has been gutted now.

I worked in pharmaceutical science. It's nearly all bullshit. Half the studies aren't reproducible. The generics are always formulated differently, and the "quality control" are too busy rolling in bribe money to do their jobs.
