I give zero fucks about how much money you make, it’s what you do with it. Once you get to a certain point, it becomes less about money and more about power and using that wealth for power. That’s why they push tax increases as an end all be all. They can get out of it with lawyers and it does nothing to stop their power while making people think they got one up on the rich. Americans will never understand the heart of the issue until they stop thinking it’s all about money to buy expensive cars. It’s mostly projection, ask most people what they would do after winning the lottery, and it’s buying all this shit, doing this and that, and enjoying themselves. But ask some, and they will say the work is just starting and see that jackpot as the first step to becoming a powerful, dominating force in the country. The bezos of the world are the latter.

Jeff Bezos is probably a slight positive in our society. He is spending a lot of money on medical research that big pharmaceutical companies have no incentive to pay for. Such as actually curing diseases. His companies are hard to work for, but isn't too bad.
