The original seedbox that started it all is currently online, as is my backup machine. Main box looks like a tomorrow thing since SFTP is rate limiting me at about 9 MB/s to copy the zip. What's available should work more or less, as it's capable of a combined 130 MB/s peak, average 95-105 MB/s
i believe so aswel. only the fact that they released it as an zip file and not an 1:1 image of the HDD is wierd in itself. Also multiple default Mac OSX folders are missing. some files are multiple times in the zip. eventhough alot of documents and other files are in the dump, i do believe it maybe curated / santized and that some files are purposely left out.
I can provide a little additional context: When I was given the zip file, I was told it was pre-sanitized of CP from the feds. I was also told the exact chain of custody. As far as modifications by Vincent and above I'm not aware, but I'm guessing some of the artifacting (e.g. duplicate files) are a result of the restoration process, as some deleted files were recovered. It's definitely not an exact copy, but most of the important stuff can still be verified (e.g. EXIF metadata can be cross referenced) Furthermore, since the feds DO have both the original laptop and the unsanitized copy, if they got off their corrupt asses they could easily corroborate its validity. Which could be, in theory, triggered from a FOIA request and/or a lawsuit as part of anything that comes out of this sanitized zip,

Re: Hard Drive: I was given a few versions. All different. Illegal material on one version. Some possible inserts. I'm not into investigating that kind of thing. Passed it along.

The only zip I'm aware of is the one V gave to me, with the following hash: 4C8CEDCED047E9F23DC26C8BD50E8ABACBEEDB91E675943C6339BE40DAD989A9 Any version that doesn't have that hash isn't the one from the torrent. I do like the "manicured" label though, gonna have to steal that.
