I’m partially vegan (I’ll eat meat and some animals products if I think it’s been sourced in an ethical way), but most vegans make the worst arguments and use the worst tactics. Instead of focusing on showcasing the excruciating pain and torment animals in factory farms are subjected to every day, they decided to flip out over hunters who do decent work in procuring food and maintaining ecological balance. Additionally, these hunters don’t torture the game they hunt; the animals live a natural life until the lights suddenly go out as a bullet passes through them. Even when they talk about factory farms they focus on the slaughtering. Sure it’s gruesome and can have a visceral effect on people, but in reality the slaughtering isn’t much a problem. The act is done swiftly most of the time and it’s life ends within a minute.
